Simon has equipped the apartment very well and it really is only a ten minute walk into town. It's definitely the best apartment we have rented, and we will come again. Plus I forgot to mention the view.
Wonderful!

Hi, I am Amy and I am having a wonderful time here in Girona while staying at this beautiful apartment. The apartment is clean and bright and my brother and I are particularly enjoying sharing the bunk beds! The old town of Girona itself is breath-taking. As you walk past the John Lennon Gardens down to the cathedral I feel as if I am walking into a fairytale village! The best shop in Girona is called Entabonarte.
It is a beautiful soap shop!

We have had a great week in Girona. The location of the apartment is excellent, and we have really enjoyed staying here - especially opening the shutters at first light and enjoying the peace, cool air, birdsong and glow of the sunrise on the cathedral. We also enjoyed Aiguariolls de Emporda Natural Park - some spectacular birds to be seen. And also the Dali house at Port Lligat was a moving place to visit.
Thanks very much!

We have enjoyed our stay, and the wonderful views. We have fallen in love with Girona.
It is certainly the best kept secret in Spain!

We have truly enjoyed our stay at Vista de la Catedral. The town and the apartment have surpassed their reputations. Sunrise and sunset views from here are breath-taking. It is also a great place to siesta after lunch. Be sure to check out the Roman Walls, with spectacular views of the town, the cathedral AND the apartment! The apartment itself has been a dream - we aim to return as soon as possible.
We really enjoyed walking our evening meal off around town (extraordinarily peaceful) and coming home up the hill. We would highly recommend Divinum restaurant on Carrer General Foumas. Aminada Pollastre (chicken salad) with curry and mango was great, as was bacalla with ali-oli (honey oil and thinly sliced cod).
Also Draps, a few steps away from Divinum, Cort Reial. The house salad, Aminada Draps, features zesty blue cheese with a sweet vinagrette.

We have enjoyed our stay very much - there is so much to see, we will have to return! We walked into Girona on our first evening - it is true, it is about 10 minutes to walk into town, but be prepared for the walk back up the hill! We have walked round the lake at Banyoles, then to Besalu - fabulous places to explore. And the coast road is fantastic, winding around mountains with great views of the rocky coast.

What a gem Girona is. Everything was wonderful but I think our highlights were the view from the balcony with a glass of red wine in hand and the circular walk up to San Miguel Castell and Carie Del Angels. We shall be back.
