We have just finished an excellent week here and have enjoyed staying in the apartment. The position is lovely, great views, Spanish ambience and so close to the city.
At first I couldn't believe Simon's assurance that it's a fifteen minute walk to the cathedral, but it really is true - even for oldies like us! For new visitors, go down the steps down, then down to the valley and turn right. The walk back up the hill will keep you fit! Girona is beautiful. We've loved walking around. The high spots for us were the walk around the walls, the Call and the Jewish museum, and just wandering. The Spanish lady and her husband downstairs are very friendly and helpful. Simon, thanks for all the help with plans and routes, maps and books.
