Welcome to Vista de la Catedral ...

... a lovingly-furnished holiday apartment lying just a ten minute walk from the cobblestoned streets of Girona's old quarter. Sleeping two to five people, the first floor apartment is a popular all-year round holiday home, perfectly situated for exploring Catalunya, with Barcelona just 75 minutes away by train.

THE HOLIDAY APARTMENT is situated within a half hour drive of the unspoilt beaches of the Costa Brava in north-east Spain. The coast can also be reached easily by the reliable local bus service. Trekking and winter skiing in the Pyrenees are also within easy reach. Other favourite day trips include the medieval town of Besalu and the Dali museum at Figueres (a short train ride from Girona).

THE ACCOMMODATION includes a modern fully-equipped kitchen, lounge, and dining room with free Wi-fi internet access (laptop required). The old town is reached by a quiet stroll through the Sant Daniel Valley, with the monastery gardens providing a short cut to the dramatic city Cathedral. Both the lounge and master bedroom open out onto the balcony which provides panoramic views across the valley to the old town and Cathedral (as shown above).

THE ENGLISH-OWNED APARTMENT is located just behind the Cathedral, a ten minute walk from the cafes and restaurants of the old town. In the evening, views of the Cathedral are probably best enjoyed from the comfort of our terrace, glass of wine to hand. We also have excellent access to public transport, lying just a twenty minute walk from mainline train and bus stations - and to cap it all, we're just a 25 minute taxi ride from Girona airport.
